18th Dec – day 99 – After a night at our favorite hostel, Bodega (it had just opened a couple of days before and we were guest no. 7, 8 and 9!), we knew straight away that in a few weeks this hostel would be buzzing because of its great location AND pool. In our first day the rain didn’t stop us exploring the town and jumping in the pool!

19th Dec – day 100 – Today we had slightly better weather so we took a taxi to the Mummified Monk and the Grandma and Grandpa rocks. In the afternoon we headed down to the beach and had a few drinks at Elephant Beach Club.

20th Dec – day 101 – The sun finally came out for us, so we went down the the new LubD pool right on the beach! We then met up with Chloe’s friend Tracey and had a night out in Koh Samui!

21st Dec – day 102 – We spent the day at LubD again before getting the boat across to Koh Phangan.

22nd Dec – day 103 – We stayed at Slumber Party in Koh Phangan and we sat around the pool there most of the day before getting ready for our first Full Moon Party! We headed to the beach in the evening to find the thousands of people all drinking buckets and partying on the beach!

23rd Dec – day 104 – After a bit of a lie in we went down to Haad Rin Beach, which is where the party was the night before, except now it was deserted! We sat for a while before going back to the hostel to sit by the pool.

24th Dec – day 105 – Christmas Eve! We got a big group of us staying at the hostel together and made plans for Christmas Day while we sat by the pool. In the evening we went to Amsterdam Bar to watch the sunset and then drank at the hostel. We ended up drinking on the beach with everyone who wasn’t ready to go to bed!

25th Dec – day 106 – CHRISTMAS DAY! We all spent the day together with the friends we had made the day before. We headed to the Mason Arms which is an English themed pub and had a lovely roast dinner. Then we watched the sunset at Amsterdam Bar and went to Haad Rin Beach for another Full Moon Party!

26th Dec – day 107 – We headed over to Koh Tao by boat and walked around to find somewhere to stay. We checked into CK Hostel and then went to watch the sunset on the beach. We decided to have an early night to recover from the Christmas Festivities.

27th Dec – day 108 – We all rented scooters and rode to Freedom Beach, where we stayed most of the day. On the way back we had a great salad bowl and then we had some drinks and went out.

28th Dec – day 109 – We decided to have another day with the scooters and went back to Freedom Beach and walked up the view point. In the evening we had a crazy night to the Koh Tao Pub Crawl!

29th Dec – day 110 – We had returned our scooters and booked to get the night boat to Phi Phi Island. To pass the time during the day we walked up to a nice hotel that had a great infinity pool overlooking the island.

30th Dec – day 111 – We checked into Detox Hostel, had some food and decided to have a quiet night in.

31st Dec – day 112 – Blanco Boat Party! We spent the day drinking while visiting Monkey Island, Viking Cave, and Maya Bay. After the boat party we went to Ibiza Pool Party. Unfortunately I maybe peaked too soon and didn’t quite manage to see in the New Year awake!

1st Jan – day 113 – We spent the day at Ibiza Pool Party relaxing and in the evening we went out to watch the Muay Thai Boxing.

2nd Jan – day 114 – Another day spent by the pool, but today at PP Princess. In the evening we watched sunset at Banana Bar and went to the beach for drinks.

3rd Jan – day 115 – We managed to leave Phi Phi and fly to Kuala Lumpur just in time to miss a huge tropical storm!
